In the 1990s, we had an incredibly popular taco plate in our range. Do you remember it? Bright yellow and red with a decorative chilli pepper – but most importantly, it was highly practical. Now, we’re welcoming it back, but with an updated, more classic design. The taco plate is now the centrepiece of our new Ditte tableware collection – a collection that becomes a beautiful accessory on your table!

For those who think the taco trend has passed – think again. Today, we enjoy tacos in many varied ways, often influenced by different cultures and flavours. It’s tapas with cheese, olives, and cured meats; tacos with everything from fish to halloumi; snacks and finger foods with dips. The inspiration behind Ditte began with the iconic taco plate from the ’90s, but the collection now includes everything you might need for serving accessories. Taco stands that work just as well for soft buns, hot dogs, or breakfast rolls ready to toast. Ditte also features small to large bowls and a soon-to-be favourite – the cheese dome. The idea is that the collection can be effortlessly combined with your existing tableware – you simply choose the pieces you need for serving!

We’re particularly fond of Ditte’s design, with its grey-beige base and black speckles. There’s nothing – in terms of colour or material – that it doesn’t pair beautifully with. Made from stoneware, it offers a delightful weight and durability. All pieces are stackable for easy storage when not in use. Ditte is a collection of table accessories to enjoy for many, many years to come.
