Gurken continues to grow
When Sagaform and designer Daniel Enoksson continue their design collaboration, Gurken grows from a characterful grinder into an entire family for the table. The new carafes carry forward the series’ playful and distinctive design language, now in crystal glass and with generous forms created to be seen, used and appreciated every day.
From the very beginning, Gurken has been about giving familiar everyday objects a new personality. The carafes continue this idea. Function meets playfulness in a design that feels both distinctive and natural on the table. Carefully balanced proportions give each piece a character of its own, while the family resemblance to the original Gurken remains clear.
The series includes a carafe for water or white wine, a generous wine carafe and a smaller carafe for oil or vinegar. Clear crystal glass is combined with stoppers made from certified beech wood, creating a design where material, form and function come together. Together, they form a family of functional objects that deserve to stay on display even when not in use.
Just like the original Gurken, the carafes are created to spark curiosity and invite use. Functional products with a strong character and a playful twist, designed to find a natural place around the table and become part of many moments to share.
