We dare say that almost every family owns at least one Nature wine carafe from Sagaform.

Perhaps you received it as a graduation gift, a christening present, or a Christmas gift. Maybe it’s a natural feature at every Christmas dinner at your grandmother’s house, or a daily water carafe on your parents’ kitchen table. However it found its way into your family, one thing is certain – it’s a Swedish original.

Historically, Sagaform has been known for Scandinavian design with touches of light wood. Now, we are introducing darker tones and, above all, a new material – cork. A classic and sustainable material that we have embraced and refined. The dark brown cork feels timeless and luxurious, adding a beautiful, organic touch when combined with other colours and materials.

The Nature collection, with its small and large hand-blown glass carafes, is recognised by its characteristic design featuring a round oak stopper. Now, we present Nature in a new edition, where the iconic round stopper is crafted from dark cork. The shape of the carafe has also been updated to harmonise with the Saga glassware collection.

Cork is a Swedish classic that had its heyday in the 1970s. Now making its debut at Sagaform, it appears in a rich dark shade, offering a sense of luxury, authenticity, and timelessness. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, cork provides a calming presence in interior design and is also an exceptionally eco-friendly and durable material. Cork is the most sustainable of all organic materials—completely biodegradable and recyclable.
