Step inside Amanda Edentoft’s festive home
Christmas is one of our most cherished holidays at Sagaform. A time when homes are filled with scents, soft lights, and the little traditions we hold close to heart. For us, December is all about creating moments that feel both thoughtful and effortless, where friends and family gather around good food, warmth, and beautiful details.

This season, we had the pleasure of stepping into Amanda Edentoft’s home in Borås, where the festive spirit has already arrived.
With personal touches, inviting tablescapes, and a warm atmosphere in every room, she shows how to create a home that truly embraces the holiday season.

We took the opportunity to ask Amanda how she prefers to celebrate Christmas, and how she creates that magical feeling in her home.
How do you create a festive feeling at home?
With candlelight – especially scented candles. I bring in natural elements like moss and fir branches to decorate with. White hyacinths. Ribbons tied around candlesticks. And a playlist of calm Christmas songs in the background. I don’t think it takes much to create that cosy feeling.
What does Christmas have to include for you?
Delicious food, of course! But something I’ve come to appreciate even more since becoming a mum is lowering expectations and choosing quiet, meaningful moments over big events or rushing around. In short: it’s more about the feeling – and the essential ingredients.

Do you have a Christmas tradition that comes back every year?
Christmas Eve has, for the past few years, always been celebrated at our place. I love inviting people in and taking care of the family. We don’t have any grand or perfect traditions, but it’s the small rituals that make the day special – how the morning begins, who helps with what, what’s always on the table, and of course – who gets the honour of being Santa. No matter how each family celebrates, it’s those little recurring moments that make Christmas feel like Christmas. Don’t you agree?
Do you have a simple tip for a beautiful Christmas table setting?
Keep it natural: linen napkins, lots of candlelight, a few sprigs of fir around the table – or why not tie one to a napkin with a pretty silk ribbon. Low effort, high impact!
What are your favourite Sagaform products for Christmas?
Definitely Ditte in the new beige and burgundy colourway! It brings any kind of serving to life with its playful design. I also love the Blanka vase/wine cooler/candle holder, it has multiple uses, which I really appreciate. And I love when products come in earthy tones that work not only for Christmas, but all year round.

Set the scene for a cosy mulled wine moment
In Amanda’s living room, the mulled wine is poured, and the scent of cloves and orange fills the air. She’s created an inviting setting for glögg, where classics like the Nature Glögg Pot, Coffee & More espresso mugs, and the Hanna tray take centre stage.
The combination of candlelight and personal touches makes everything feel both homely and elegant.
